Lockerroom Talk: Can The Fighting Irish Be Succesful Without a Ground Attack?
College football is vastly approaching and some teams and fans have to be concerned with at least one aspect of their teams game.
For Notre Dame fans it could be the run game where we totaled 1,764 more passing yards than rushing. You know that no matter how you look at it though almost all teams have more passing yards than rushing, but most teams have a pretty solid running game as well, besides Texas-Tech. So should Notre Dame make the rushing attack their primary focus this season and try to improve this aspect or will they be ok with the mediocre rushing attack and garner enough points threw the air? Here are a few reason's why I think that the Irish should make it just fine without a very talented rushing attack. The first reason why I think the Irish will be fine in '09 is because we never have to rely on the back field to make any game changing plays.
