Former Mariners infielder Joey Cora, currently third base coach for the Chicago White Sox, is among seven candidates to be interviewed for Seattle's manager job.
New Mariners general manager Jack Zduriencik was to start interviews Monday by speaking with Boston bench coach Brad Mills.
Also on the list are Arizona third base coach Chip Hale, Boston third base coach DeMarlo Hale, St. Louis third base coach Jose Oquendo, Triple-A manager Randy Ready and Oakland bench coach Don Wakamtsu.
