MacDonald makes amends as Islanders beat Sabres

 
BUFFALO - The last time the Islanders and goaltender Joey MacDonald saw the Buffalo Sabres, it was from the wrong end of a 7-1 drubbing in the third game of the season at Nassau Coliseum. But even though Buffalo outshot them last night, 37-26, it was the Islanders who hit the net in a 4-2 victory at HSBC Arena. (link)
