Manuel's decision to play Wright proved wrong

 
MILWAUKEE - David Wright was supposed to be on the bench for yesterday's game against the Brewers. Jerry Manuel, figuring his All-Star third baseman could use a breather, planned to sit him for the series finale at Miller Park. As it turned out, his hunch was probably correct. (link)
