Mats Sundin
Well, at first he heard Friday, August 1 was the deadline. As it got closer, it became a "soft deadline." Then, as it turned out, August 1 came and went without a sound.
Alas, the Mats Sundin saga, which many thought would be over by now, is still going, and doesn't seem to have any signs of coming to a resolution soon.
"Not even close" was Sundin's agent J.P. Barry's response when asked on where Sundin stood on making a decision on next year.
Not only is Sundin deciding who to play with, but simply, will he play at all.
