Mariano saves day for Bruney, Yankees

 
The Yankees escaped with an 8-5 win over the Mariners despite a horrendous 8th by Brian Bruney, who coughed up a two-run lead. The Bombers responded with four straight hits, including Melky Cabrera's go-ahead single. (link)
