Benson on the move
mysportsrumors.com 6/27/2008 — Despite the recent tailspin of the Philadelphia Phillies there could be some good news on the horizon. The long awaited appearance at Citizens Bank Park of Kris Benson is drawing closer. The right handed pitcher has been promoted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley (Hey maybe the Iron Pigs will finally win a game). Benson has already had two rehab starts for Single-A Clearwater.

Plenty of Texas connections for Phils — Major League Baseball News 6/28/2008
Given the size of Texas, you'd expect the Phillies to have multiple connections to the Lone Star State. Adam Eaton spent the 2006 season with the Rangers, and Rudy Seanez called Texas one of his many homes in 2002.
