Marlins sign right-handed reliever Ayala

 
The Marlins have signed free-agent right-hander Luis Ayala, his agent, Joe Longo, confirmed to MLB.com on Thursday. The Twins designated Ayala for assignment last week, and the club released him on Wednesday. (link)
