Mass exodus going on at Indiana

 
Indiana’s new basketball coach Tom Crean (pictured) looks like he will have to start from scratch in his quest to rejuvenate the Hoosiers’ proud program. Crean is down to three scholarship players - and five incoming prospects - after the school announced the departure of four players today. Sophomores Armon Bassett and junior Jamarcus Ellis, who had appealed their suspensions from the team under interim coach Dan Dakich, were dismissed from the team. Junior DeAndre Thomas will not return and freshman Eli Holman has elected to transfer after a meeting with Crean that required a call to campus police after Holman became visibly agitated. Indiana previously lost freshman Eric Gordon to the NBA draft and seniors D.J. White and Lance Stemler both ran out of eligibility. The Holman incident sounds like it had some violent overtones.
