Matt Barnes agree to one-year deal with Sun

Well-traveled sharpshooter Matt Barnes signed a one-year contract with the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-7 forward spent the last two seasons with the Golden State Warriors, averaging 8.5 points and 4.5 rebounds. His best season came in 2006-07, when he averaged 9.8 points and 4.6 rebounds, then had 11.1 points and 5.7 rebounds in 11 playoff games.
Barnes, 28, joins his sixth team since leaving UCLA.
