McKenzie arrested for DUI

Giants right tackle Kareem McKenzie was reportedly arrested last night for driving under the influence in Little Falls, N.J. According to a report posted on the Web site for The Bergen Record , the 29-year-old McKenzie was pulled over around 9:30 p.m. last night after cutting through a gas station. He took a breathalyzer test and his blood-alcohol content was apparently above the legal limit of .08. McKenzie was arrested and his car was impounded, according to the report. He was later released in the custody of a friend. The Little Falls Township Police Department had no immediate comment on the report, and the Giants are expected to release a statement later today. McKenzie left the Giants locker room before we were made aware of the story, and he couldn’t immediately be reached for comment either.
