Armchair critics across America are always quick to pass judgement on the managers of their favorite teams. But the criteria used to cast aspersions - record in one-run games or in-game strategy - can drastically change the appearance of the best and worst skippers.

Triple A The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees lost to the Indianapolis Indians by a score of 5-1. Starting for Scranton was Dan Giese and he gave up 3 runs on 4 hits in 7 innings of work for the loss but 3 of the runs he gave up were unearned because of a fielding error by shortstop Nick Green.
