Pitcher Jenrry Mejia and shortstop Wilmer Flores will represent the Mets on the World team at the July 12 Futures Game in St. Louis, two days before the All-Star Game.
Mejia was recently promoted to Double-A Binghamton. Flores, at just 17 years old, is playing for full-season Savannah in the South Atlantic League.
