Memphis-Michigant State: LIVE Halftime Reaction

Memphis came out running from the opening tip and didn't stop until halftime, blitzing Michigan State for a 50-20 halftime lead. The Tigers were lead by freshman guard Derrick Rose, who had 12 points and four assists. The story of the half might be Memphis' defense, contesting every shot and holding State to 39 percent shooting. If Sparty has any chance to get back in the game early in the second half, they'll have to contain Memphis in transition. But when the Tigers shoot 63 percent and are up 30 at the break...the moutain to climb is bigger than Everest. Check back after the game for LIVE post-game reaction from Houston. [link]

BAD SHOWING BY THE BIG TEN

You can't help but lick your chops if you're a Badger or Spartan fan today. You got taken to the woodshed last night and it wasn't pretty. In Wisconsin's case, they had the better team but couldn't overcome a player, who was more than likely the best player on the court. In MSU's case, they simply did not have enough talent and athleticism to match Memphis.
