Mets hotel turns into Animal House

No more team unity bus rides with the five-game losing streak snapped. The Mets are arriving in groups this morning at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, with tales of a crazy gathering at their hotel: Anthrocon, which the group's Web site boasts as "the world's largest convention for those fascinated with anthropomorphics, which are humanlike animal characters." People were walking around in animal costumes. "Membership is open to any and all who like to imagine what it would be like if animals could walk and talk as we do," the group's site reads. Anyway, here's the lineup: Castillo, 2b Cora, ss Wright, 3b Sheffield, rf Tatis, lf Church, cf Evans, 1b Santos, c Redding, rhp (link)
