McCarron ruined it for everybody, and thanks to both of you who wrote in wanting more after my six choc-full-o-info days of guest-blogging for A-Rube during spring training… But back by unpopular demand, Peter Botte here for the next three games and sporadically throughout the season whenever our slacker beat writer accepts an actual day off or two to head up to Bingo or to do whatever it is exactly that he does when he’s not telling you EVERYTHING you need to know - and then some - about the Mets and/or their assorted minor-league affiliates. I kid because I care, of course, but I am so looking forward to Adam showing up at the purple lame-duck ballpark in Flushing at least once over the next three days to watch over me like a Fenway-dwelling hawk, as he did in Port St. Lonely in March.
