Michael Beasley: I'm Not Buying what You're Selling

 
"I've got three more years after this one," Kansas State phenom Michael Beasley told reporters. He wouldn't guarantee it though, and really who would? Greg Oden gave us the same song and dance last year, about you know, enjoying college. The Wildcats' local celebrity is acting a lot more convincing though.  "I'm still a kid; I'm still irresponsible and I want to still be irresponsible sometimes," Beasley told ESPN's Dana O'Neil. "When I go to the NBA, that's over... Britney Spears shaves her head, it's everywhere. You shave your hair, who cares? That's why I'm not sure I'm ready for the NBA." I was one of those suckers, the small group that thought Greg Oden would return for another year in college basketball. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'm not eating whatever Beasley is feeding us. I'd rather be wrong than be gullible. Beasley is the consensus No. 1 pick, an absolute monster on the court for the charging ... (link)
