Michigan Football: Where in the World is David Cone?

 
With Stephen Threet mostly likely out against Minnesota this week due to a concussion, The starting job would go to walk-on QB Nick Sheridan, followed by freshman (now turned slot receiver) Justin Feagin. With that current Michigan QB depth chart, it leads me to this question: what happened to QB David Cone? We really don't know much about this guy. For some reason a walk on and freshmen turned WR is getting more snaps then him. Something has to be going on. Why can't he crack this line up? It's not like he is playing behind Tom Brady and Drew Henson. What gives? Let's turn back the clock and see if we can find some information about David: David was a three-star QB from Statesboro, Ga. in 2006 He was rated the 33rd Pro Style QB in that class (No. 1 was Matthew Stafford, No. 2 Mitch Mustain, and No. 12 Sam Bradford). David is 6-foot-6 and runs a very slow 5.12 40. (that speed is a clue!) David played in two games for the Wolverines in 2007: Notre Dame and Minnesota. In ... (link)
