The San Francisco 49ers are in no way a playoff team this season, but Mike Singletary's squad leads fans to believe that there is hope for next year. Two well executed games in a row have made Singletary look to be the most successful 1-2 head coach in history.
The play of the Niners in the Monday night game against the Cardinals was smooth as a drum until the last half of the fourth quarter. Yesterday, the team exploded for 35 first half points, the most in 16 years.
Though the Seahawks game presented the worst loss of the season, the fans came out with a strong sense of who he is. He benched J.T. O'Turnover and later kicked Vernon Davis off the field.
Pants-a-palooza (a.k.a. his half time speech) was an unfortunate locker room revelation, but also shows that he has the fiery character needed in a head coach.
