Minnesota's Tubby Smith gets 400th win (AP)

 
Tubby Smith got his 400th career win as Minnesota beat Michigan 77-65 on Thursday night. Lawrence McKenzie led Minnesota (13-6, 3-4 Big Ten) with 18 points and Dan Coleman added 17. Manny Harris led Michigan (5-16, 1-8) with 19 and Ron Coleman had 14. Minnesota led by as many as 22 late in the second half after the Golden Gophers scored the first eight points of the half to take a 42-26 lead. [link]
