Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor leveled some rare criticism at his former star Tuesday, suggesting Kevin Garnett "tanked it" when he missed the last five games last year.

Kevin Garnett is perhaps the most passionate and conscientious player in the NBA. Glen Taylor is the person who has asked for a complete lack of accountability from his front office, who has never cared enough to question McHale or his ludicrous moves and who has never gone out and brought a real GM to town.
