Mitchell Report reaches baseball lawyers' desk

In preparation for Thursday's release to the public, former Sen. George Mitchell's long-awaited report on steroids was being studied by Major League Baseball lawyers on Tuesday to determine if it contains any violations of the collective bargaining agreement, according to two people familiar with the sequence of events.
