Mitchell won't be headed to St. John's

Cross St. John’s off the list of potential destinations for Florida transfer Jonathan Mitchell. The sophomore forward had planned to visit the Red Storm but will no longer do so.
“Uncertainty surrounding Norm, two recent departures,” said Herb Mitchell, Jonathan’s uncle, in a text message. “Not ideal situation for Jon. Didn’t need to waste anyone’s time.”
Mitchell still plans to visit Seton Hall and Rutgers, where former Mount Vernon teammate Mike Coburn also plays.
