MLB gives Selig contract extension through 2012

Bud Selig was given a three-year extension as baseball commissioner through the 2012 season on Thursday. Selig will become baseball's second-longest-serving leader behind Kenesaw Mountain Landis, who was the first commissioner from 1920-44.
