Raptors President and General Manager Bryan Colangelo fired Mitchell because he thought his team -- which added Jermaine O'Neal in the offseason -- was underachieving at 8-9. But since then, his replacement, Jay Triano, has gone just 2-8. The Raptors (10-17) have lost a season-high five games in a row, plunging to the bottom of the Atlantic Division and hitting two more lows last week. The first came during a 96-86 loss to Dallas on Wednesday night, when the Raptors blew a 13-point first-half lead and the home crowd at Air Canada Centre booed them in the fourth quarter.
