The West may have the charm and beauty, but baseball's marquee free agents are treating it like Death Valley, with the crme de la crme migrating East.Free agent shortstop Rafael Furcal, late of the Los Angeles Dodgers, is leaning toward signing a three-year contract with the Atlanta Braves, agent Paul Kinzer said Tuesday. Former Seattle Mariners outfielder Raul Ibanez officially signed a three-year, $31.5 million contract Tuesday with the Philadelphia Phillies. (link)
