Moose: Hall of Fame?

Mike Mussina retired on the Nov. 20, marking the end of the "Moose's" 17-year career.  He played on only two teams during that time; the Yankees and the Orioles.  In 1999, he finished second in Cy Young voting.  He has 270 wins, and a 3.68 ERA in his career. Hall of Fame, or not? He is known for being durable and for always pitching well.  He averaged 225 innings-a-year!  He had a twenty-win season in '08, and many people have said that twenty wins guarantees his plaque in Memorial Park and the Hall of Fame.  So why isn't Moose's plaque for the Hall of Fame already being made? Moose never won the Cy Young, or MVP, and doesn't have three-hundred wins. He will most likely be a Hall of Famer, but there is a small chance he won't make it.  So, if you are a plaque maker, don't start on Moose's plaque just yet!   (link)
