More players verify findings in Report

Matt Herges and Glenallen Hill on Wednesday became the latest in a list of current and former Major League Baseball players who were named in the Mitchell Report and have since admitted their use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Andy Pettitte reportedly told Congress in his private depostion that Roger Clemens had used HGH. Apparently, Clemens told Pettitte he used Human Growth Hormone 10 years ago. Due to his testimony, Pettitte was excused from the public hearings today, along with Chuck Knoblauch and steroid dealer Kirk Radomski. Clemens is being grilled by congress today on allegations of steroid and HGH use. We remember all the fun and games surrounding the physical evidence at the O.J. trial. Even if they find Clemens DNA (which Clemens acknowledges would exist), there would be the problem of proving that it had never been tampered with. Hopefully they won’t try to see if a syringe fit in a pin hole in Clemens butt--if it doesn’t fit you must acquit?
