MVP Confusion: 3 Different Definitions of Most Valuable Player

 
  All this MVP confusion sterns from the fact that MVP is not clearly defined. There is no way voters have to vote. Because of this, there is a lot of debate. Here I will seperate the MVP into 3 different definitions of a valuable player. Here they are: Definition 1: Best player on the best team. Kevin Garnett would be this MVP. He is the best player and leader on the best team in the NBA, the Boston Celtics. He has revived the Celtics, but has not had a career year, and probably won't win the MVP award. In the Dirk Nowitzki model, Garnett would win the award. Definition 2: Most Indispensible Player. LeBron James would win this MVP. Without LeBron, the Caveliers would be the worst team in the NBA, just like they were before they got LeBron. LeBron carries the Caveliers every night, even with other teams solely focused on him. Definition 3: Most Outstanding Player. Kobe Bryant would get this MVP. I concede that Kobe is the best player in the league. His offense, defense, and ... (link)
