My College Football Writers Challenge

In my opinion there are lots of writers on here that know a lot about their team. They generally know a little less about the other teams in their conference, but only a little. From there they usually know about the non-conference teams on their teams schedule. Some know stuff about other major contenders such as Florida, Texas, USC and Ohio State but don’t know as much about Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Washington State and Indiana. Others only really know about the automatic qualifiers and don’t know the difference between Mountain West teams and WAC teams or that Western Kentucky is now a DIA Sun Belt team. I try to keep up on all the teams from No.1 to No. 120. That still doesn’t mean I know all there is to know or all that I want to. I read a couple of the preseason magazines each summer. Team by team, in at least two different publications. I don’t retain it all but later in the season when I hear a name I can usually recall a little about them. My ... (link)
