My Premature Endorsement Of What Will Be an Impressive Cardinals Victory

The score right now? Arizona Cardinals 27, Carolina Panthers 7. I've been so impressed with the Cardinals' win-in-progress that I decided to skip waiting till after the game to write this article. The Panthers came into the game as heavy favorites but are not representing the tough reputation they earned in the regular season. They say that defense wins championships and so far the unknown Cardinals' defense is keeping the vicious Carolina offense in-check. Kurt Warner has been almost flawless, completing 15 of 19 for 200 yards, two touchdown passes and zero interceptions. Even without Anquan Boldin, this Cardinals' offense still can't be stopped. Their defense is making Jake Delhomme look like a pedestrian and keeping their two feared backs right in line and out of production. However, the 2006 Indianapolis Colts have proven that the game is not over until it's over. I hate to sound arrogant... But this one, is over. (link)
