Myers among K.C.'s six picks

With six picks in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft, including the first overall selection, Kansas City Wizards coach Curt Onalfo saw the opportunity to not only compete among the top teams in the league, but to prepare for years to come.

January 18 --- BALTIMORE, MD --- Chance Myers thought there would be a chance he'd be the No. 1 pick in the MLS SuperDraft when the Kansas City Wizards boldly traded veteran defender Nick Garcia to San Jose for the right to pick first. --- "The palms are still sweaty," he said. --- Myers is the second UCLA defender picked first overall in the past three years (Marvell Wynne went to NY in 2006).
