Phoenix Suns guard Steve Nash left Wednesday night's preseason game against the Atlanta Hawks after spraining his right ankle.
Nash was injured late in the first half and was not expected to return, according to the Suns.
Nash limped and grimaced as he left the court. No details of the injury were immediately available.
The Suns were without center Shaquille O'Neal, who was just resting, according to coach Terry Porter.
