Nate Miles to end up at a junior college
Former UConn forward Nate Miles, who was expelled by the school judicial board Oct. 2 after he was charged with violating a restraining order 16 minutes after it was filed, has apparently found a soft landing place. He plans to resurface at the College of Southern Idaho (a junior college) during the second semester of his freshman year.
Miles, a 20-year old talent, will be eligible to transfer to another Division I program in Sept. of 2009 if he chooses. He was declared academically eligible when he enrolled at UConn, but we could see him declaring for the NBA draft instead.
Hoop Scoop Online has a list of the seven schools Miles attended since 10th garde before signing with UConn. They include Toledo Waite, Toledo Libbey, Oak Hill, Va. Academy, the Patterson School in North Carolina, Notre Dame of Fitchburg, Mass., San Antonio Cornerstone Christian and Cleveland, Tex. Heritage Christian.
