Despite unfavorable pre-tournament odds, the Egyptians really surprised everyone in this African Cup of Nations. In the end, it doesn’t matter much if their final victory stemmed from a tremendous defensive blunder: over the course of playoffs and the tournament as a whole, the Egyptian Pharaohs deserved their 2008 ACN, a record-breaking sixth title in their history.
