After winning the NBA Championship last season, the Boston Celtics knew that they were going to have to work hard to bring back the group that brought them their first championship since 1986. However, things did not go as planned for the Celts. James Posey, who was without a doubt their biggest contributor off the bench, signed a four-year deal with the Hornets. This was a huge blow to the Celtics as they do not have anyone who can contribute as much both offensively and defensively. The Celtics were able though, to bring back Eddie House and Tony Allen, both who contributed nicely to their Championship run. The Celtics made a surprising move the other day when they signed former Trail Blazer Darius Miles to a contract. This was an interesting move as Miles has missed the last two seasons due to a knee injury. The Blazers waived him after they believed the knee injury to be career threatening. If Miles can get back to his old form, the Celtics hope he can take the place of James Posey. Miles is ...

He could be that scoring spark the team needs off the bench, something they really didn’t even have in James Posey. The possibilities are endless with a healthy and disciplined Miles.
