The best players tend to shine when everything they play for is on the line. Today was no different as Cleveland’s Lebron James and Boston’s Paul Pierce went head-to-head as they each tried to propel their team into the Eastern Conference finals against the Detroit Pistons. Relief. Before the playoffs started, anything less than a trip to the Conference Finals would have qualified as complete disaster, and at least now it can be said that was avoided. What else can we say? Well, the Celtics are pretty good at home. ...Bring on Detroit!
