There have been plenty of articles on this website of people putting out their opinions of who they think should be the NBA MVP. I decided that I would try to get all of those opinions in one place. So, without further ado, what are the specifics on your two MVP candidates? Kobe Bryant, SG, Lakers (49-23) Stat Line 28.3 ppg, 2.9 spg, 5.3 apg, 6.2 rpg Behind the Numbers Kobe Bryant leads a Lakers team that has spent the last few seasons in turmoil after Shaq's departure to the Heat. He has had multiple problems in his personal life (most noteablty the rape case), and has been unable to create a top tier team. This season, all of those things changed. He has lead the Lakers into a musical chairs game with basically the top 5 Western Conference teams for the top spot. Before Pau Gasol, they were a good team being held together by possibly the best player in the game, after Gasol, they are championship material.
