NBA Trade Rumors: Deadline Talk

 
While most attention in the NBA is on players like Vince Carter, Jermaine O'Neal, Ron Artest, and Andre Miller, there are some other trades that could possibly happen before Thursday's trade deadline arrives. Here are a few: Ben Wallace, C, Chicago Bulls It is noted around the league that Chicago is the team trying the hardest to get a deal done. The management in the Windy City is trying to unload center Ben Wallace on some team, but hasn't been successful yet. There is little to no interest in the aging 33 year old who is scheduled to make $28.5 million over the next two years. Only the Utah Jazz seem to be serious contenders. Andrei Kirilenko, F, Utah Jazz The forward from Russia is set to make $49.3 million over the next three years, and the Utah Jazz seem anxious to get rid of him. A reported trade with Chicago seems unlikely because of Wallace's recent poor play, but Utah is desperate to be able to compete in a Western Conference now filled with Pau Gasol and Shaquille O'Neal. ...
