We all know the players that are getting the preseason attention. It also happens that they are the top three of this list. Besides all that though, what I was wondering was “Who are the other top returning players based on stats?”
Here is the first list of a series showing the top returning statistical leaders.
The Top 10 returning passers
1. Sam Bradford, Oklahoma
Completed 328 on 483 attempts for 4720 yards and a completion percentage of 67.9. He threw for 50 touchdowns with eight interceptions and was sacked 11 times. He had a rating of 180.84. Bradford finished 2008 at No. 1.
2. Colt McCoy, Texas
Completed 332 on 433 attempts for 3859 yards and a completion percentage of 76.7. He threw for 34 touchdowns with eight interceptions and was sacked 24 times. He had a rating of 173.75. McCoy finished 2008 at No. 3 but is the No. 2 returning passer.
3. Tim Tebow, Florida
Completed 192 on 298 attempts for 2746 yards and a completion ...
