New Orleans reportedly will bid to host the Super Bowl in 2013. The city has hosted nine Super Bowls, but none since 2002. The longterm future of the Saints franchise was put in question when Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005, but team owner Tom Benson told the New Orleans Times Picayune that he's in favor of a bid for the 2013 game.
