Part 5 of a 32 part series, a running back position analysis of each franchise. The NFC North division winner was the Green Bay Packers with a 13-3 record. The Packers beat the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Playoff game fueled by Ryan Grant overcoming 2 fumbles and then rushing for 201 yards & 3 TD’s at snowy Lambeau Field. In the Conference Championship the Packers hosted the NY Giants in an epic contest. However, Ryan Grant wasn’t a factor against his former team. The Giants controlled the clock & wore down Green Bay as the game went into the latter stages. The Giants held the ball for over 40 minutes and exerted their will throughout the 2 nd half and overtime. This gave Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes the chance to atone for his earlier two misses and kick the Giants into the Super Bowl on a 47 yard Field Goal.
