NFC North: Ranking the Running Game Part 8

 
Part 8 of a 32 part series, a running back position analysis of each franchise. The Chicago Bears had a dreadfully disappointing 2007 campaign making the previous year’s Super Bowl berth just one ago a very distant memory. GM Jerry Angelo hinted as if significant changes will be on the horizon for the Bears. The offense must have a revamped look with open competition at both the QB & RB positions. Watching the Bears turned into watching what Devin Hester will do this week. The offensive line needs to be reconstructed after performing like a shell of the unit that was solid just one year ago. The defense which finished the season a jaw-dropping 28 th in yards allowed after ranking 5 th in 2006. Their two noteworthy additions of S Adam Archuleta & DT Darwin Walker have to be classified as major busts. The secondary also is in need of repair.
