No. 2 seed Jankovic stunned at Wimbledon

Second-seeded Jelena Jankovic has been ousted by Tamarine Tanasugarn in the fourth round at Wimbledon.
Playing with her left knee heavily strapped up, Jankovic lost 6-3, 6-2 against Tanasugarn, who had a No. 60 ranking on Court 18 on Monday and was treated for a lower back injury during the match.
It is the first time the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam in the open era haven't featured one of the top three seeds. Ana Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova were ousted last week.

Second seed Jelena Jankovic was knocked out of Wimbledon on Monday at the hands of Tamarine Tanasugarn. The Thai veteran defeated Jankovic, who was suffering with a knee injury, in the round of sixteen 6-3, 6-2. Tanasugarn’s victory puts her in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam for the first time in her fourteen-year career.
