No bull - Mets on a roll

 
I was away over the long weekend and only heard about the games after each one was finished. I was sorry to have missed Carlos Beltran’s ninth-inning grand slam on Friday night, but missing Aaron Heilman’s based-loaded walk on Saturday more than made up for that. Also, when you hear that a grand slam won a 5-4 game, your first thought is that the score was 4-1, not 2-1 and Luis Ayala would give two of those runs back. But even with two bad bullpen losses on the road trip (the bases-load walk and the 7-0 blown lead in Philly), the Mets are still 4-2 on the road trip against three contending teams. In fact, the Mets have won more games than any other team in baseball since July 1. And that’s with Billy Wagner out for half that time and the bullpen blowing several games. How is this possible?
