Bears Fans Rejoice!!  The man who for over a decade has ripped the hearts out of our body's and stomped on them like cigarette butt has finally called it a career!  As A Bears fan I celebrate today for many reasons.  Many of my associates live in Wisconsin and today is a day of extraordinary doom for them.  I, being the small minded person I am, am jumping on them.  Does that make me a lunkhead? The type of Bears meathead fan that celebrates a bad season for the Bears because they beat the Packers twice?  For one day, you bet your ass!  Taking a quick look at the numbers you say to yourself that this Favre guy broke almost every single passing record in the NFL.  He started every game since people like John Candy, Ronald Reagan, and Abraham Lincoln were alive.  He led quarterbacks in numerous statistics in the late 1990's including amounts of vicodin taken in a given week.  He threw 442 touchdowns, ran for 13, and even had a 40 yard rush in ... Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre has decided to retire. ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that according to Favre's agent, Buss Cook, Favre informed Packers coach Mike McCarthy of his decision Monday night. Foxsports.com first reported Favre's decision.

Nine last-minute deals were completed to prevent free agents from hitting the market on the eve of free agency. In what really came as a shock to NFL fans, the Green Bay Packers QB has called it quits. The Mississippi gunslinger said in a voicemail to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, “I know I can still play, but it’s like I told my wife, I’m just tired mentally. I’m just tired.”
