Not even rain can damper Mother's Day

With Sunday's game postponed due to rain, Brandon Inge and his fellow Tigers did not get a chance to use their pink bats, but the message behind them is still clear. Pink bats have become annual Mother's Day symbols as part of an overall "Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer" initiative by MLB.

I really can't believe people are making such a big deal about this, and that it's still being talked about. Does anyone say a word when Johnathan Papelbon goes nuts on the mound, or when K-Rod does his little dance? Or how about the many other pitchers who show the same type of excitement on the mound, does anyone complain?
