Notes: 12 pitchers a 'magic number'

 
There is certainly no shortage of decisions awaiting Padres manager Bud Black this spring, with some rating far more difficult than others. Deciding how many pitchers to carry on the staff, however, isn't one of those lingering concerns that will cause Black, the second-year manager, to lose sleep. (link)
