Notes: Challenging Votto

Before camp started, Reds manager Dusty Baker challenged young sluggers Joey Votto and Jay Bruce to try and get through Spring Training without striking out. So far, Votto has been rung up twice, while Bruce has just one.

Chien-Ming Wang lasting just two-thirds of an inning in today's spring training game vs the Cincinnati Reds. He faced 10 batters giving up five singles, one double, and walking two. The only outs he recorded were on a hard-hit ball and a sac fly. He threw 32 pitches, 19 of them for strikes. All in all, a terrible day for Wang.Reds Fans, Welcome to Dusty Baker's World
