Notes: Towers ready to compete

Last season, the Rockies were looking at Josh Towers because they had holes in their starting rotation. This time, Towers, right-hander Kip Wells and left-hander Mark Redman have experience as they compete with talented, but inexperienced, lefty Franklin Morales for the fifth rotation spot.
